Sandy Chases the Elusive Yellow Butterfly

This drawing is a name I made up. It is a meander. I put my pencil on the page and do not lift it until I am ready. It differs from a contour drawing in that I am not looking at anything except my own memories.

  1. I adore this picture! I see myself as the energy I actually perceive myself as having–ever pursuing something elusively beautiful in a highly animated world. I love the robin, the rabbits, the flowers, the river, Cheryl’s face in the river. I love the composition of it, the color, the movement of energy. I know you contract to do spirit portraits, and this proves how very good you are at that!
